To more vividly demonstrate the hardcore strength of the Dongfeng M-Hero 917, a special "head-on clash" segment was set up on site. Braving eight hardcore challenges, one experience that leaves you thoroughly satisfied
Truly hardcore, daring to challenge. In the off-road track experience segment, the Dongfeng M-Hero 917 took on eight hardcore challenges, including crab-mode experience, 0-100 km/h acceleration, side slope, cross axle, hill climb, water fording, and more. Each challenge was extremely demanding, fully demonstrating the hardcore performance of the Dongfeng M-Hero 917.
In the crab-mode experience, the Dongfeng M-Hero 917 used rear-wheel steering-by-wire technology to nimbly avoid obstacles and extricate itself, successfully completing a "different kind of moose challenge." The 0-100 km/h acceleration experience allowed the audience to feel the super power of the Dongfeng M-Hero 917. The extended-range version is equipped with a three-motor drive, producing up to 816 horsepower and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds, swift as the wind. At the same time, with a minimum turning radius of only 5.1 meters, the Dongfeng M-Hero 917 flexibly maneuvered around cones, showcasing the charm of black technology that can both unleash wildness and move with agility.
A 40-degree side slope and a 60 cm cross axle are extremely challenging for ordinary off-road vehicles, but the Dongfeng M-Hero 917 easily cleared them thanks to its powerful suspension system and electronic limited-slip technology. The 100% hill climb experience left the audience even more amazed. The Dongfeng M-Hero 917 is equipped with the world's first electric drive assembly integrating a differential lock and a two-speed transmission, providing powerful climbing ability that helped it successfully conquer a 100% steep slope, stunning the entire venue!
In the water fording experience segment, the Dongfeng M-Hero 917 steadily drove through a maximum wading depth of 900 mm, far exceeding the 300 mm required by national standards, three times the national standard. The final challenge was even more difficult—"blind driving" over a rocky road.
