At the start of 2026, the competitive landscape of China's new energy vehicle market has become further defined. According to data disclosed by automakers and listed companies, BYD Group's new energy vehicle sales in February reached 190,190 units, once again ranking first in the industry and maintaining a clear leading advantage among mainstream automakers, consolidating its top position with stable and strong performance.

Since June 2021, BYD's monthly new energy vehicle sales have consistently led the market, holding the top spot in China's new energy vehicle sales for 57 consecutive months. In December 2025, BYD became the world's first automaker to roll its 15 millionth new energy vehicle off the production line. To date, cumulative new energy vehicle sales have exceeded 15.5 million units, with its scale advantage continuing to expand and its industry-leading foundation becoming more solid.
In February, the domestic market was affected by the Spring Festival factor, causing a temporary slowdown in consumption pace, but BYD's overall performance remained steady, with the overseas segment in particular continuing its high-growth momentum. That month, overseas sales of passenger vehicles and pickups reached 100,151 units, up 41.4% year-on-year; cumulative overseas sales for January-February 2026 reached 200,160 units, a year-on-year increase of 42.3%. As sales in core markets such as Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific rise rapidly, the overseas share is steadily climbing, the global layout is accelerating its realization, and overseas markets are becoming an important pillar of stable growth.

The high-end brand matrix continues to break through upward. In February, the three major high-end brands—Fangchengbao, Denza, and Yangwang—achieved combined sales of 23,000 units, showing significant year-on-year growth. The rising proportion of high-end products not only drives continuous optimization of the product structure, but also provides more solid support for corporate profitability, with brand value and market influence strengthening simultaneously.
Layout at the technological level also sends positive signals. On March 2, BYD announced on an interactive platform that it would hold a disruptive technology launch event on March 5. After the news was released, the market reacted quickly, and the company's A-shares rose 8.36% that day. The feedback from the capital market demonstrates investors' high recognition of and confidence in the company's hardcore technological strength.

Looking back at 2025, BYD topped China's auto market sales rankings with annual sales of 4.6 million vehicles, forging global leadership through strength and securing the global new energy vehicle sales championship for multiple consecutive years. Entering 2026, supported by the triple advantages of scale, technology, and the global market, BYD is moving forward steadily with an even more composed posture.
