Recently, BYD Marco Polo New Silk Road entered Uzbekistan, activating the ancient route with hardcore flash-charging technology and writing a new chapter in East-West cultural exchange and industrial co-building.
This Uzbekistan leg started from Nukus and ran eastward across the heart of Central Asia, passing in succession through the three great Silk Road ancient cities of Khiva, Bukhara, and Samarkand, before finally reaching the capital, Tashkent, fully linking Uzbekistan's millennium-old cultural landmarks.
Along the journey, BYD deeply cultivated Silk Road mobility scenarios, establishing dedicated flash-charging stations in the four core ancient cities of Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand, and Tashkent. With a fully covering energy replenishment network and efficient, stable flash-charging technology, it solved the challenge of energy replenishment for cross-border long-distance travel and injected green momentum into transnational passage in Central Asia. The pioneering spirit of merchants and travelers on the ancient Silk Road has been reborn through the empowerment of new energy technology, and the thousand-year-old route is welcoming a new mobility transformation that is modern and low-carbon.

It is worth mentioning that on July 9 local time, the "Silk Road Night" themed event in Samarkand grandly opened at the showroom of BYD authorized dealer BYD Beni Motors. The Marco Polo delegation visited the site, and BYD's Chinese representatives and core leaders of the local dealer received them throughout and held in-depth exchanges. Based on the historical heritage of Samarkand as a millennium-old Silk Road hub, both sides looked back on the origins of cross-border connectivity and mutually beneficial coexistence on the ancient Silk Road, discussed new opportunities for China-Uzbekistan industrial cooperation and brand cultivation in the new energy era, and interpreted the responsibility and commitment of a Chinese automaker going global to empower the Central Asian market. At the end of the event, representatives of the three parties signed and took photos in front of the brand display board, capturing a new milestone in BYD's deep cultivation of its Central Asia layout and deepening of regional cooperation.

With brilliant night lights, the grand event began. The "BYD × Silk Road Night" music gala unfolded warmly, with song and dance performances blending Central Asian local customs and modern trends appearing one after another, as light and shadow intertwined on site and the atmosphere was enthusiastic. Traditional cultural charm and the allure of new energy technology merged in both directions, presenting guests with a Silk Road feast that crossed cultures and linked ancient and modern times, allowing the inclusiveness and vitality of the millennium-old Silk Road to bloom once again.

Cars traveling the ancient route connect China and foreign countries with one heart. From the distant lingering charm of camel bells in Khiva, to the brilliant city lights of Samarkand, and then to the vigorous innovation vitality of Tashkent, BYD uses green technology as its pen and the cross-border journey as its scroll, giving the ancient Silk Road a brand-new era connotation of low carbon, intelligence, and efficiency. The successful conclusion of this Uzbekistan leg is not only a brilliant chapter in BYD's Marco Polo Silk Road tour, but also confirms the brand's firm strategy of deeply cultivating the Central Asian market and advancing a high-quality global layout.
Chasing the light forward, the pace never stops. After bidding farewell to Uzbekistan, the BYD Marco Polo Road fleet will drive into Kazakhstan and then enter China. In the future, BYD will continue to rely on core technology as support and a global layout as its foundation, deeply cultivate overseas markets, deepen international industrial cooperation, connect the world with the power of green mobility, and continue to write a brand-new chapter of Silk Road co-building and cultural exchange in the new energy era.
