On July 27, BYD officially released the official images of the Dynasty 9 Series flagship sedan, the Han L. The new car is positioned as a D-segment executive sedan, with a length of 5256 mm and a wheelbase of 3130 mm, and will make its debut at the Chengdu Auto Show opening in August. The exterior continues the "Loong Face" design language, with a through-type light assembly paired with a dragon whisker styling, and the lower bumper is equipped with an active grille and air vents. The official images feature a youthful color scheme of a green body with a white roof. The rear is equipped with a Chinese knot-style through taillight, and 20-inch and 21-inch wheels are available, with the 21-inch offering an optional floating wheel center cap. In terms of power, both plug-in hybrid and pure electric versions are offered. The plug-in hybrid version is equipped with a 1.5T engine (115 kW) and an electric motor (200 kW), paired with a 54.489 kWh battery, and has a WLTC pure electric range of 370 km. The pure electric version offers two options, rear-wheel drive (370 kW) and four-wheel drive (200 kW + 370 kW), equipped with a 102.326 kWh battery, with CLTC range covering 820 km to 1008 km. The entire series comes standard with lidar, supporting God's Eye 5.0 advanced intelligent driving and Yun辇-A intelligent body control system. Quick comment: 5256 mm vehicle length, 3130 mm wheelbase, 1008 km range - the Han L has pushed both size and range indicators to flagship levels. With a starting price of 250,000, it is much lower than the NIO ET7 and Mercedes-Benz EQE. The intelligent driving and chassis configuration have not been reduced either. The key will be the real vehicle quality and final pricing strategy when it officially debuts at the Chengdu Auto Show.
