On September 1, Leapmotor released exterior teaser images of its all-new small hatchback, the Leapmotor Lafa5 (B05). Leapmotor's deliveries in August this year reached 57,066 units, a year-on-year increase of 88%. The Leapmotor B01 exceeded 10,000 deliveries in its first month on the market, while cumulative deliveries of the C10 surpassed 150,000 units.
In terms of exterior, the Leapmotor Lafa5 is a small hatchback. The front hood features a design with a concave center and raised sides. The smoked black headlight clusters connect with the black trim in the center, creating the visual effect of a continuous light bar. The light clusters are equipped with a three-segment daytime running light inside, and a LiDAR is mounted above the windshield.
The Leapmotor Lafa5 has smooth lines along the body side and most likely adopts hidden door handles. The rear is paired with a continuous taillight, and the internal light cluster structure echoes the front headlights. A spoiler extends rearward from the roof, giving the vehicle a decent sporty feel.
In terms of power, the new car will use pure electric power, and specific powertrain configuration information is awaiting an official release from Leapmotor.
