In terms of exterior, the new car overall continues the exterior design of the pure electric version. The outline of the headlight assemblies remains consistent with the pure electric version, while the internal light structure has become more minimalist, the black trim between the light assemblies has been removed, and the creases on the hood are more pronounced, giving it a stronger muscular feel. The front bumper of the new car adopts a completely new design, with a sharper shape than the pure electric version, and the large trapezoidal air intake adds a sporty touch. The side of the new car remains consistent with the pure electric version, while the rear continues to use a through-type light assembly, the rear bumper has a sportier shape, and a diffuser decoration has been added at the bottom. The new car's length, width, and height are 4760/1936/1650mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2845mm.

In terms of power, the new car's 1.5-liter range extender has a maximum power of 77 kilowatts, the motor power is 200 kilowatts, and the 0-100km/h acceleration time is 6.5 seconds. The new car will be equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack, with a pure electric range of 215 kilometers, a combined range of up to 1215 kilometers, and fast charging from 30% to 80% takes only 15 minutes.

Dada commentary: The Arcfox Alpha T5 is a pure electric mid-size SUV that adopts 800V ultra-fast charging platform technology. Its body uses a large amount of high-strength steel and aluminum alloy and has obtained C-NCAP ultra-five-star safety certification. The Alpha T5 pure electric version is divided into the 520 series and the 630 series, and these numbers also represent the pure electric range. The range-extender version is equipped with BAIC's self-developed "Shenqing" range-extender power system. The range-extender start-stop imperceptible system, through algorithm optimization, reduces startup vibration by 33%, providing better smoothness. The new car's starting price is expected to enter below 100,000, and its excellent product strength and relatively high cost-effectiveness will enhance its competitiveness, making it expected to become the "best choice" for range-extender vehicles in the 100,000 price range.
