November 27 news: The BAIC Off-road BJ60 Thunder Executive Edition, a mid-to-large SUV under BAIC Off-road, will go on sale on November 30. The guided prices of all currently available BAIC Off-road BJ60 Thunder models range from 259,800 to 304,800 yuan, and the guided price of the Executive Edition may be close to 320,000 yuan.

In terms of exterior, as a newly added version, the appearance of the BAIC Off-road BJ60 Thunder Executive Edition is basically consistent with the versions on sale. The five-palace star-ring grille light perfectly integrates the grille with the light clusters, and the wraparound LED light source enhances the sense of fashion. In terms of details, the Executive Edition replaces the high-gloss black of the models on sale with chrome decoration, and is equipped with newly styled 20-inch dense-spoke wheels. The body length, width, and height remain 5040/1955/1925mm, and the wheelbase is 2820mm.

In terms of interior, the Executive Edition adopts a dark gray color scheme, with the seats and roof covered in suede material, adds electric adjustment for the rear seats, and continues to be equipped with a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel, dual 12.8-inch central control screens, and a passenger-side linked screen. The overall interior has a strong sense of technology.

In terms of power, the BAIC Off-road BJ60 Thunder uses a 1.5T four-cylinder engine as a range extender, with a maximum power of 138 kW. The total power of the front and rear dual motors is 403 kW, the pure electric range is 152 kilometers, and the comprehensive range is 1200 kilometers.

Dada review: The BAIC Off-road BJ60 Thunder is a range-extended powertrain version built on the basis of the BJ60. Its power and range capabilities are superior to the ordinary BJ60, and its fuel economy is better. Its competitors include models such as the Tank 400 Hi4-T and Tank 500 Hi4-T. By comparison, the BJ60 Thunder has a more obvious price advantage, and the motor's power and torque are superior to those of the Tank 500 Hi4-T. Its zero-to-100 acceleration is 1.1 seconds faster than that of the Tank 500 Hi4-T. The battery of the BJ60 Thunder is designed in the center of the frame, giving it a better axle load ratio. The vehicle's turning radius is only 5.5 meters, offering better handling flexibility. In the domestic market, the sales performance of the BAIC Off-road BJ60 Thunder is average, with sales in October this year reaching only 93 units. The launch of the Executive Edition is intended to boost overall sales, but market expectations may not be ideal.
