On January 26, the 1,000th XPeng X9 Super Extended-Range Mobile Charging Station was officially launched. At the handover ceremony, 10 owner representatives received V2V vehicle-to-vehicle charging cables and exclusive "Mobile Charging Station" car stickers, marking the official entry into service of a rescue team composed of XPeng X9 owners.

The "XPeng X9 Super Extended-Range Mobile Charging Station" program opened applications on January 24, and it took only 48 hours for all 1,000 sets (each worth 500 yuan) of professional charging equipment to be claimed. The "mobile charging stations" formed by these 1,000 owners are mainly deployed along major homecoming routes such as the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau Expressway and the Shanghai-Kunming Expressway. When EV users run low on battery while traveling home, they can look for an XPeng X9 bearing the mobile charging station logo for emergency recharging, using its 6 kW external discharge function for vehicle-to-vehicle charging, which can add 50 kilometers of range per hour and help the assisted vehicle reach the nearest fixed charging station.

Dada's commentary: When driving an EV home, the biggest fear is running out of battery due to traffic congestion, with still some distance to the next fixed charging station. V2V vehicle-to-vehicle charging can serve as an emergency replenishment method, with vehicles acting as "mobile charging stations" to recharge vehicles low on battery, building a more flexible energy replenishment system. The V2V charging cable is a dedicated cable for bidirectional power transmission. The 1,000 sets of professional equipment are provided by XPeng officially, with a total value of 500,000 yuan. Users who claim this equipment can also assist each other with charging during group travel, improving itinerary flexibility and reducing dependence on fixed charging piles.
