Recently, the Chery Fengyun A9 EV appeared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's new vehicle declaration catalog. The new car highly restores the design of the Fengyun E05 concept car and is positioned as a B-segment pure electric sedan.

In terms of appearance, the new car adopts a closed front face and sharp headlights, with sporty air ducts on both sides of the front bumper. The front badge can be optionally blacked out or chrome-plated, and higher trim models will also be equipped with lidar. The side profile features simple lines, a fastback shape paired with semi-hidden door handles, and dimensions of 4836/1896/1489mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2900mm. The rear is equipped with a through-type taillight and a spoiler trim panel, giving it a strong sporty feel.

In terms of interior, the new car adopts a minimalist and three-dimensional design, equipped with an embedded LCD instrument panel and a floating central control large screen, with seats offering prominent bolstering.

In terms of power, the declared model is equipped with a single motor with a maximum power of 178kW, matched with a lithium iron phosphate battery, and a top speed of 180km/h.

Dada's comment: The Fengyun A9 EV highly restores the avant-garde design of the concept car, and the fastback shape and sporty details are very eye-catching. The 2900mm wheelbase ensures spacious room, and the 178kW motor is enough to satisfy daily driving pleasure. Overall, it has achieved a good balance in design, space, and performance. If the final pricing is reasonable, it is expected to become a dark horse in the B-segment pure electric market.
