On September 1, the Wuling Yangguang Pro range-extender powertrain version went on sale, with a benefit price of 104,800 yuan. The new car is positioned as a super-capable, efficient commercial light bus, forming a powertrain complement to the pure electric Yangguang Pro, with a diversified powertrain layout that balances urban delivery and cross-city freight.

In terms of appearance, the new car overall continues the exterior design of the pure electric Yangguang Pro, offering a 9-cubic-meter-class large space. Its 2170 mm vehicle height is unfazed by the 2.2-meter height limit in urban areas, making entry and exit at wholesale markets and residential underground garages stress-free.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with the Wuling Lingxi range-extender hybrid system, featuring the industry's first 1.5T direct-injection range-extender engine, with a thermal efficiency of 39.3% and a maximum power of 105 kW. The new car is equipped with a 31.9 kWh Shenlian battery commercial version, a fuel tank capacity of 55 L, a CLTC pure electric range of 150 km, and a combined range of 850 km with a full tank and full charge. The drive type is rear-wheel drive, with a rear-drive single motor maximum power of 110 kW and peak torque of 280 N·m. It comes standard with 2C fast charging, taking 15 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%.

Dada commentary: The pure electric version of the Wuling Yangguang Pro went on sale in July 2026, with a price range of 94,800 to 138,800 yuan. The models are divided into functional versions (cargo windowless), operating versions (6/9-seat passenger transport), and customized versions, with multiple range versions of 318 km, 365 km, 380 km, and 405 km. The newly added range-extender version of the Yangguang Pro has a combined range of 850 km, can take cross-city orders, has no range anxiety, and reduces charging queue waiting time. Its comprehensive operating cost is about 0.26 yuan/km, making it more money-saving and quieter than diesel light buses. The price of the range-extender version of the Yangguang Pro is 10,000 yuan more than the entry-level pure electric version. Users who only run short-distance urban distribution within the city, have a single-day mileage of ≤300 km, and have a fixed charging pile should choose the pure electric version first, while users who frequently transport across cities, travel long distances within the province, and have a large order-taking radius are advised to choose the range-extender version.
