On November 3, the all-new Chery Tiggo 8 officially launched pre-sales. This time, the new car is offered in four configurations, with pre-sale prices ranging from 105,900 yuan to 135,900 yuan, and is scheduled for an official market launch on the 10th of this month.

The new car is positioned as a family-oriented five-seat mid-size SUV. Unlike before, it offers two front-end designs for the first time: the "Tiger" and the "Leopard." Among them, the Tiger variant features single-unit headlights and a larger chrome grille, giving it a more稳重 overall style. The Leopard variant, meanwhile, adopts split-type headlights paired with a cleaner grille, delivering a more distinctive visual effect and offering consumers a clear choice.

On the side, the new car measures 4,749/1,880/1,710 mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2,825 mm. The unified side profile features semi-hidden door handles and 19-inch wheels. At the rear, the update focuses on a new full-width taillight, with the "CHERY" brand badge moved above the light bar to improve recognition.

Inside, the interior layout corresponds to the exterior style. Customers choosing the Leopard variant get a 13.2-inch vertical integrated central control screen while retaining practical physical air-conditioning buttons. The Tiger variant's cabin consists of a 10.25-inch instrument panel and a 15.6-inch horizontal central control screen, with a dedicated dual-phone placement platform. Both interiors are uniformly fitted with a new two-spoke steering wheel and a column-mounted gear shifter.

In terms of intelligent experience, the new car is equipped with a Qualcomm 8155 chip as the foundation of the infotainment system. Its integrated HMI5.0 interaction system, cloud entertainment connectivity, and enhanced voice interaction are the main highlights, and higher-trim models add a four-zone voice function with dialect recognition support.
In terms of power, the all-new Tiggo 8 uniformly adopts the Kunpeng 1.6TGDI turbocharged engine across the entire lineup, with a maximum power of 147 kW (about 197 hp) and peak torque of 310 N·m. Mated to this engine is a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.

Overall, through the choice of dual front-end and interior styles, updated intelligent features, and a standardized powertrain, the all-new Tiggo 8 aims to further clarify its positioning in the family SUV market.
