The Dongfeng Fengxing Leiting Range-Extended Edition has recently been officially launched. This vehicle currently offers only one configuration variant, priced at 129,900 yuan. The new car has undergone a series of adjustments in exterior design, equipment, and powertrain.

In terms of exterior design, the Range-Extended Edition's front fascia removes the large black decorative elements on both sides of the headlights, giving the front end a cleaner look. The split-type headlight design is retained, and the grille shape below the front bumper has also been slightly adjusted. The body length has increased by 30 mm compared to before, with the vehicle now measuring 4,600 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, and 1,700 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,715 mm. The rear section has changed noticeably, with the taillights reverting to the full-width through-type design from the 2023 model year, along with air guide channel decorations added on both sides, and the rear bumper design has also been optimized.

Stepping inside, the most notable change is that the central control screen has been upgraded to 14.6 inches, but the traditional instrument cluster screen has been removed. The overall equipment is relatively close to the pure electric version, while the interior materials and build quality maintain the consistent standard.

The powertrain is the focus of this update. The Dongfeng Fengxing Leiting Range-Extended Edition is equipped with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine as a range extender, with a combined system power output of 120 kW and combined torque of 240 N·m, consistent with the pure electric version's figures. The vehicle adopts a rear-mounted rear-wheel-drive single-motor layout, with fuel consumption of 5.4 liters per 100 km in depleted battery conditions and a CLTC pure electric range of 230 km. The battery is a Sunwoda lithium iron phosphate battery, supporting fast charging from 30% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes, and features a 3.3 kW external discharge function.
