On December 31, the FAW Toyota bZ3 Smart Enjoy Edition was officially launched, including four models: JOY, PRO, PRO+, and MAX, priced at 109,800 yuan, 129,800 yuan, 139,800 yuan, and 159,800 yuan respectively. Among them, the JOY and PRO models offer a "limited-time renewal price" of 93,800 yuan and 103,800 yuan respectively.
In terms of exterior, the new car continues the design language of the current bZ3, with a closed front face and a through-type LED light strip as its distinctive features, and the overall styling tends toward sharp angles. This update adds a new car color called "Daiyun Cui." The body dimensions remain unchanged, with length, width, and height still at 4725/1835/1480 (1475) mm and a wheelbase of 2880 mm. The vehicle is positioned as a mid-size car and adopts a four-door five-seat design.
In the interior, depending on the model, the central control screen is available in two configurations: a 12.8-inch vertical screen and a 15.6-inch horizontal screen. Official information shows that the vehicle's gear shifting method has been changed from a rotary knob to a stalk-style shifter, while also adding dual cup holders and dual phone wireless charging panels, as well as a PM2.5 negative ion generator and multi-color ambient lighting that supports music rhythm, among other features. The core upgrade of this facelift is concentrated on intelligent driving. Some higher-trim models are equipped with a lidar on the roof, and the entire vehicle carries a total of 32 intelligent perception hardware units and adopts the Momenta 5.0 assisted driving solution, providing a series of assisted driving functions including ILPP memory parking.
In terms of power, the new car continues to offer two single-motor options with different power outputs. Among them, the electric motor maximum power of the JOY and PRO models is 135 kW, and the maximum power of the PRO+ and MAX models is 180 kW. The peak torque of both powertrains is 303 N·m. Two battery capacities are offered accordingly: the battery capacity of the JOY and PRO models is 49.9 kWh, with CLTC range of 517 km and 510 km respectively; the battery capacity of the PRO+ and MAX models is 65.3 kWh, with CLTC range of 610 km and 600 km respectively.
