On April 27, the Wuling Xingguang 730 Exclusive Edition was launched. This vehicle is positioned as a compact MPV, adopting a "2+2+3" seven-seat layout and offering three powertrain versions: gasoline, plug-in hybrid, and pure electric.

In terms of exterior, the new car continues the design of the current model, featuring a black mesh grille on the front face paired with slim headlight clusters. The side of the body is equipped with an electric sliding door on the right side, with the track hidden beneath the lower edge of the windows, and the tailgate is an intelligent electric tailgate. The body dimensions are 4,910 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, and 1,770 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,910 mm.

In terms of interior, the new car features a 3.5-inch instrument screen and a 12.8-inch floating central control screen in the center console area. The front seats can fold flat 180 degrees, the second row has independent seats with dual-side armrests, and the third-row backrests are adjustable. The infotainment system is based on Android 13, equipped with the Lingyu AI central intelligent agent, supporting voice interaction in multiple dialects, and comes pre-installed with apps such as QQ Music and iQIYI. In addition, the vehicle is also equipped with smart constant-temperature automatic air conditioning, automatic headlights, and rain-sensing wipers.

The pure electric version has a maximum motor power of 100 kW, equipped with a 60 kWh battery, and a CLTC range of 500 km.

Commentary: Since its launch, cumulative sales of the Wuling Xingguang 730 have exceeded 40,000 units, ranking first in MPV sales within 150,000 yuan for five consecutive months. This market performance reflects that there is still strong demand space in the 100,000-yuan-class family MPV segment. The Wuling Xingguang 730 Exclusive Edition offers three powertrain versions—gasoline, plug-in hybrid, and pure electric—covering the energy preferences of different users, and its 2,910 mm wheelbase and 2+2+3 seat layout give it a certain space advantage among models in the same price range. The newly added right-side electric sliding door, intelligent electric tailgate, and other equipment, as well as the Lingyu AI smart cockpit and Lingmou driver assistance system, are rare in the 80,000-110,000 yuan price range, reflecting the trend of configuration upgrades in this segment.
