On July 8, the Zeekr 9X five-seat version opened for pre-sale and is expected to arrive in stores gradually in late July.

The Zeekr 9X five-seat version measures 5239×2029×1819mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3169mm. The main change in the five-seat version is the removal of the third-row seats, changing the cabin layout from 2+2+2 to 2+3. With the third row removed, rear legroom increases by approximately 120mm, and cargo volume rises from 470L in the six-seat version to more than 1000L, expandable to 2100L when the rear seats are folded down.

The vehicle offers second-row dual Eames lounge chairs and dual zero-gravity seat modes, with a longer slide rail travel for the second-row seats and a larger maximum recline angle for the seatbacks.
The Zeekr 9X five-seat version is equipped with the Qianli Haohan intelligent driver assistance system, offering two intelligent driving solutions, H7 and H9, with a standard lidar. For body safety, it features the Haohan Safety Armor, adopting a four-in-one integrated body structure, paired with safety protection designs exclusive to hybrid models.

The Zeekr 9X five-seat version comes standard across the lineup with a 900V high-voltage electric hybrid architecture and 6C ultra-fast charging, taking about 9 minutes to charge from 20% to 80%.
In terms of chassis, it is equipped with closed dual-chamber air suspension, dual-valve CCD electromagnetic damping, and a 48V active stabilizer bar, offering 10 all-terrain driving modes and an intelligent crosswind suppression control system.

Xiao Tang's View: The Zeekr 9X five-seat version retains the powertrain, chassis, and main configurations of the six-seat version, and only reconfigures the interior space by adjusting the seat layout, thereby gaining more generous rear legroom and a larger cargo volume. Its target user group is relatively clear, namely consumers who do not have high demand for multi-person seating but value rear-seat comfort and storage capacity. With the six-seat version already achieving good market performance, the launch of the five-seat version is more like a precise supplement for specific needs rather than a replacement choice for everyone.
